The Opportunity

Based in Mackay, reporting directly to the QLD Service Operations Manager, your primary purpose is to lead a high performing Workshop, ensuring the safe, cost-effective and the high quality manufacture of products for Ampcontrol QLD.

The role is responsible for achieving production schedules, maintenance of plant and equipment, capability development, quality control, and the manufacture and collaboration with the engineering and project management teams.

Strategically, this role will ensure that resources, skills and technology are in place to deliver against the business plan and to optimise quality throughput of product.

What are we looking for from you?
• Proven leadership experience in supervising an industrial or mining services workshop
• Strong ability to motivate, guide, and coordinate teams for optimal productivity
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on building strong customer relationships
• A proactive and adaptable approach to meeting deadlines and handling operational changes
• Electrical trade (highly advantageous)
