About the Role

Rumzer LLC is seeking a highly skilled Product Stewardship Engineer to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Product Sustainability Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing the environmental impact and sustainability of products throughout their life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) for manufacturers producing complex, engineered assemblies.
• Analyze data related to materials, production, transportation, energy usage, carbon emissions, and end-of-life considerations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and minimize environmental impact.
• Develop reports and recommendations based on LCA findings.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in life cycle analysis methodologies.

Requirements
• An undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical or other relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in life cycle analysis or related environmental assessment work.
• Proficiency in LCA software tools and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in new product development/design is preferred.
