Job Description
Henkel is seeking a Procurement Sustainability Data Analyst in Navi Mumbai, India. The role involves developing procurement tools with sustainability metrics, analyzing supplier performance data, and managing sustainability campaigns. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a degree in a related field, and skills in data analysis and project management. Collaboration with procurement teams and supplier engagement is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Tool Development:
• Develop and code procurement-related tools that incorporate sustainability metrics (e.g., carbon footprint, circularity, biodiversity impacts).
• Translate chemical value chain knowledge into actionable insights and decision-support systems for procurement teams.
• Analyze data on supplier sustainability performance, materials sourcing, and life-cycle assessments to enable procurement decisions based on sustainability metrics.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for sustainability metrics.
Project Management:
• Lead and manage supplier sustainability campaigns, including designing initiatives, setting objectives, and tracking progress.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance transparency and encourage adoption of sustainable practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on sustainability goals within procurement processes.
• Report on campaign outcomes and recommend next steps based on data-driven insights.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with sustainability and procurement teams to integrate tools and metrics into procurement strategies.
• Provide training and support to procurement professionals on using sustainability tools.
• Serve as the main point of contact for sustainability-related data and supplier engagement efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
• Minimum 3 Years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Data Science, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in data analysis, coding (Python, R, SQL), and tool development.
• Strong understanding of the chemical value chain, including sourcing and sustainability challenges.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in driving campaigns or initiatives.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, SBTi) and familiarity with life-cycle assessment (LCA).
• Experience in supplier engagement and collaboration within the chemical or manufacturing industries.
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or sustainability-related areas.
