Airswift is hiring a Procurement Specialist for a 12-month contract in mining, initially remote with future travel to New South Wales on a 19:9 FIFO roster. The role involves leading procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates should have extensive mining procurement experience and strong negotiation skills. Full Australian working rights are required.
Procurement Specialist - Mining (Remote/FIFO 19:9)

Project Duration: 12 months contract (possibility of extension)

Location: You'll work remotely for an initial period of time but will be required to travel to New South Wales on a 19:9 FIFO roster late 2025.

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist with a strong mining background to join our dynamic team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving procurement activities for large-scale mining projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead procurement activities for mining projects, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee procurement strategies to meet the needs of the business while maintaining cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and services required for mining operations.

What We’re Looking For
• Extensive experience in mining procurement, ideally in large-scale mining projects across Australia.
• Must have experience in supporting and procuring materials for processing plants construction.
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with industry regulations.
• Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
• Ability to work remotely initially, with travel to New South Wales for a 19:9 FIFO roster starting in late 2025.
