Procurement Manager

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team in the role of Procurement Manager. About the Role:

This role will oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory control, and coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced construction environments and understands how procurement directly impacts project timelines and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Manage procurement of solar modules, inverters, racking systems, balance-of-system (BOS) materials, and electrical equipment. Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains. Coordinate material forecasting with project managers and operations teams to support project schedules. Oversee inventory management and tracking across warehouses and 3PL partners. Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and logistics coordination. Monitor lead times and proactively mitigate supply chain risks. Maintain accurate inventory and procurement reporting using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Reconcile deliveries, track discrepancies, and resolve material shortages. Support cost control initiatives and margin optimization. Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate invoice reconciliation and vendor payment processing.

Requirements:

3+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience (solar or construction preferred). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis for procurement tracking and reporting. Experience managing inventory and working with 3PL warehouse operations. Knowledge of construction materials, electrical components, or solar equipment preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously. Experience with ERP or inventory management software preferred. Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills.

Work Schedule & Travel:

Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on project needs. Occasional travel to project sites, warehouses, or vendor locations may be required.
