The Opportunity

In this 6-month fixed term role the Procurement Compliance Officer is the guardian of procurement & purchasing processes and vendor management including prequalification.

This involves:
• creating compliant purchase orders based on accurate information and adherence to the procurement policy.
• Managing vendor data throughout the onboarding and pre-qualification process, ensuring compliance with internal policies, risk management requirements, and audit standards.
• Generating reports to support the Procurement function, including vendor cleansing, procurement dashboards, and spend analysis.

Success in this role comes from strong compliance mindset, ability to identify risk, strong customer service, excellent reporting abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

About You

This role demands a detailed understanding of SAP, particularly the Materials Management module within the P2P process, and its impact on other business areas. Proficiency in MS Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results, and possess strong problem-solving skills to address issues effectively.

A positive and flexible attitude, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is crucial for collaborating with various stakeholders and managing competing priorities. The ability to produce high-quality reports and procedures, apply theoretical and practical knowledge to solve common problems, and consistently manage recurring tasks is also required, along with a demonstrable ability to contribute positively to a team environment.
