Location: Location Procuement Manager - Technical & Site ProcurementWe are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and develop site procurement activities at our Linz location. In this role, you will manage the local procurement team and ensure the delivery of competitive, compliant, and sustainable procurement solutions across technical and service categories.You will play a key role in supporting operational excellence, ensuring security of supply, and aligning local procurement activities with group-wide strategies.Your RoleAs Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the site procurement strategy while acting as a key business partner to operations, engineering, and group procurement.Your Scope IncludesTechnical procurement, including CAPEX, MRO/spare parts, technical services, site overheads, and business servicesLeadership of the local procurement teamImplementation of group procurement strategies and contractsSupplier relationship management, negotiations, and risk mitigationEnsuring full compliance with HSEQ, legal, and internal procurement proceduresKey ResponsibilitesLead, coach, and develop the site procurement team, setting clear objectives and KPIsDefine and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with group guidelinesNegotiate framework agreements and commercial terms with key suppliersEnsure competitive total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and safetyActively manage supplier performance and supply risksSupport multi-site sourcing, benchmarking, and volume pooling initiativesCollaborate closely with site management, group procurement, legal, HSEQ, and engineering teamsContribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and toolsYour ProfileMaster’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)10–15 years of relevant professional experience, including 5–10 years in a similar procurement leadership roleStrong experience in technical procurement and negotiations within an industrial environmentSolid understanding of contractual and legal principlesProven people management and stakeholder influencing skillsComfortable working in international, multicultural matrix organizationsProfessional fluency in English and GermanWhat We Offer A high-impact role with direct influence on site and group performanceResponsibility for a significant annual procurement portfolio (€80–100 million)Strong exposure to senior management and international procurement networksA collaborative, safety-driven industrial environmentCompetitive compensation and attractive benefits packageIn accordance with Austrian labor law and depending on your qualifications and experience, we offer a competitive annual gross salary starting at € 78.383,90 (based on 38 hours/week) in line with the collective agreement for the chemical industry.
