Job Description

Bloom Energy is seeking a Process Engineering Intern in Newark, DE, to assist in waste reduction and energy innovation. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams on waste reduction projects, mapping material flow, and identifying improvement opportunities. Candidates should be juniors or seniors in engineering with strong communication skills and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The internship offers hands-on experience and potential career progression.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:
• Work with cross-functional teams to plan and implement waste reduction projects.
• Collaborate with the Process Engineering team to map current and future state Material & Information flow.
• Identify opportunities for improvement by eliminating non-value-added tasks in the work elements.
• Create A3 for an identified opportunity for waste reduction.

About You:

Candidates should possess the following:
• Must be a junior or senior graduating by Summer 2026.
• Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Highly motivated and a self-starter.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation.
• Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills.
• Focus on working with cross-functional teams.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any other related engineering degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Compensation:

The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including relevant skills and experience. Salary ranges from $33.00 to $36.00 per hour. Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
