Job Description

NES Fircroft is seeking a Process Control Engineer in Perth CBD, Western Australia, for a contract until December 31, 2025. Responsibilities include providing technical support for plant operations, managing changes, developing operational strategies, and designing control systems. Candidates should have a degree and over 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with Yokogawa experience preferred. Full AU working rights are required.
We are currently recruiting a Process Control Engineer in Perth CBD for a Global Oil & Gas Operator on an initial contract until 31st December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance to run the clients plant in a safe and optimal manner
• Use Management of Change processes to capture changes, improve overall system stability and keep Process Control documentation updated
• Establish Control Room philosophies for support of Operator PMS, Based Layer Control, Production toolset and Advanced Process Control (APC) systems and Applications
• Develop Operational strategies for the real time support of critical Digital Process Network infrastructure, including Control Rooms and Integrated Collaborative Environment rooms (ICE)
• Design, specify, deploy, and sustain base process control systems on our DCS platform. Includes complex control aspects such as speed/surge control, ignition/firing controls, overrides, and startup/shutdown sequencing.
Additional:
• Yokogawa experience preferred
• Degree Qualified essential
• 5+ years industry experience within Oil & Gas
