SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for participating in a training program that will teach incumbents in this role to find and/or make Tooling’s for print machinery. Objective of this position is to allow Operators to set machines with the tooling and screens necessary to complete a successful setup of a Print job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following reflect definition of essential job functions for the job at hand but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.
• Participate in training program of print machinery setup specific to our line 3 operation.
• Learn to place tooling, screens & squeegees on print machines. Adjust to proper specification with height color and registration on the bottle.
• Continuously inspect bottles/ware for damage and conformity to specifications.
• Repair screens as needed by taping or using emulsion to fix holes.
• Scrape or remove thermoplastic ink from bottles with solvents and bottle cleaning equipment, while following all safety measures in place.
• Complete weekly training documentation to demonstrate growth and development.
• Complete work orders.
• Learn to operate VLM to remove and add paints as needed.
• Fill in as a Print Technician when needed for production work.
• Ensure work areas are kept safe, clean, and orderly.
• Mandatory participation in company-wide recycling efforts.
• Mandatory participation in company-wide safety initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Education or equivalent working experience. Graduation from a technical school desirable.
• 1-2 years of machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and comply with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory requirements.
