About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Microgrid Energy Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative energy solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement microgrid concepts, including islanding operation, grid-connected operation, energy management, control strategies, and power flow management within a microgrid system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop renewable energy systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, wind turbines, batteries, and other distributed energy resources (DERs).
• Design and implement advanced control systems and automation technologies, such as supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, energy management systems (EMS), Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs).
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in power electronics and their application in renewable energy systems and microgrids, including inverters, converters, and other power electronic devices to interface and control DERs.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in microgrid design, development, and implementation.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
