Role Overview:

At Jemena, we're looking for a Principal Business Analyst (Consultant) who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and creating positive change.

In this role, you'll build strong relationships between our Digital and business teams, using your expertise to guide solutions that enhance processes, improve experiences, and deliver meaningful outcomes.

You'll partner closely with stakeholders, ensuring business needs are understood and solutions are designed with care.

With a focus on people, customer journeys, and transformation, you'll help shape strategic decisions and influence digital-led improvements that make a real difference.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:
• SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN THE UTILITIES INDUSTRY
• Understanding of strategic challenges in the utilities industry and implications of the energy transition
• Regulatory Understanding – Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, risk-based maintenance, and regulatory compliance within the utilities sector
• Understanding of organisational structure and operations in areas such as customer innovation, utility metering and revenue, asset management, field management, or construction
• EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A CONSULTING CAPACITY OR FOR A CONSULTANCY COMPANY IS ADVANTAGEOUS
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, communicate complex ideas with clarity, and guide decision-making in a supportive and solutions-focused way
Qualifications & Skills:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Commerce, Project Management, or a related field, combined with in-depth and extensive experience in Business Analysis
• Understanding of how different parts of a business connect, with experience in one or more of the following areas: customer innovation, utility metering and revenue, asset management, and construction
• Experience using collaborative tools and techniques for key Business Analysis functions, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and benefits tracking
