Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Primary Design Engineer to join a successful, developing team in their Adelaide office. The successful candidate will be developing high quality designs for Primary HV systems and working in close collaboration with Principal and Senior Engineers with the designing, testing, and commissioning of these HV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid with engineering, technical analysis and report generation
• Assistance with the commissioning of HV systems
• Assist and work on overhead line design, specification, and documentation
• Involvement within substation primary design, specification and documentation
• Keep team members informed of relevant issues impacting on them or further work
• Provide technical and engineering expertise and advise to Project Managers as and when necessary
• Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• Chartered/Professional Engineer preferred
• Turnkey project expertise in HV substation design is essential
• Experience in substation design and/or large substation projects
• Ability to lead designs.
