Role Description
The Pricing Strategy and Financial Performance Lead is an exciting 13 max-term opportunity in Pricing and Financial Performance team based at our Perth CBD Office.
The purpose of the role is to support the Customer Business Unit commercial decision-making that will prioritise strategic business objectives, leading people and role modelling culture.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead the development of the Customer Business Unit five-year demand, revenue and cost forecasts in line with Synergy’s strategic objectives.
• Guide the analysis of market trends and regulation policies and their implications on Customer Business Unit. Define and implement pricing strategies and methodologies for all customer electricity products.
• Identify and assess portfolio risks for both business and residential segments, optimise CBU performance.
• Take the lead in the preparation of financial insights, including budget variance analysis, presenting results in a meaningful and influential way, enabling informed decision-making by key stakeholders.
• Role model culture of excellence, teamwork, self-management and innovation.
What You Will Bring
• Strong commercial acumen and risk-aware approach.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to challenge status quo.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to develop, influence and maintain positive working relationships.
• 3+ years’ experience in a senior analytical role ideally in complex market pricing or commercial setting.
• Preferable experience in people leadership, and genuine care for team members
