Role Description

We are looking for a Pre & Post Sales Engineer to support the complete sales cycle of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Rooftop & Open Access Solar Projects. The candidate will be responsible for technical evaluations, proposal preparation, customer interactions, and post-sales support, ensuring seamless execution from initial consultation to project completion.

Pre-Sales Responsibilities
• Conduct energy consumption analysis and feasibility studies for potential rooftop & open access solar installations.
• Assist the sales team with technical support, system design, and proposal development.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, including financial models, ROI calculations, and payback periods.
• Perform site assessments to evaluate structural feasibility, shadow analysis, and system optimization.
• Liaise with the design and engineering team to create preliminary system layouts and specifications.
• Address technical queries from clients, ensuring they understand the system’s benefits, performance, and compliance.
• Support business development efforts by analyzing market trends and identifying potential opportunities.

Post-Sales Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients and the project execution team.
• Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams for smooth execution of approved projects.
• Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure alignment with customer requirements and project specifications.
• Assist in regulatory approvals, net metering applications, and utility documentation.
• Provide customer support during and after project implementation, ensuring satisfaction and resolving technical issues.
• Conduct performance monitoring and analysis of installed solar systems to optimize efficiency.
• Prepare handover documentation and assist in client training for system operation and maintenance.

Key Skills & Qualifications
• Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in pre-sales, design, or project execution in the rooftop solar industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with PV system design, net metering policies, regulatory compliance, and energy analytics.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with solar design tools such as Google SketchUp, PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot project challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• Team Collaboration: Strong coordination skills to work with multiple departments, including sales, design, and execution teams.
