The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Practice Executive (Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant) to join our Legal Operations team in Melbourne on a full time, permanent basis.

Some key areas of responsibility will include (not limited to):
• Practice and client management including general administration and data entry
• Business Development/Marketing including event management
• Monthly billing/invoicing requirements
• Monitoring and managing inboxes for Partners
• Diary and travel management

Our Practice Executives play a pivotal role within the firm, ensuring that support services to legal staff are delivered appropriately and within a timely manner. You will work closely with our dedicated hub of Team Assistants to complete any administrative based tasks.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
• Prior experience as a Legal Secretary.
• High degree of initiative, pro-activity and problem solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks/projects and deliver innovative solutions to improve systems or work practices.
• Excellent relationship building and organisational skills.
• Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence and presentations.
• Ability to pick up new systems with ease, with intermediate to advanced level technical skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
