Job Overview:

The Transmission Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of electric transmission programs at NorthWestern Energy.

This includes providing engineering support for transmission pole and airbreak switch replacement projects, overseeing guidelines and regulations related to transmission designs, and performing various computer-related functions.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Ability to obtain Professional Engineer's License (desired)
• Working knowledge and experience in transmission construction and design (valued)
• Experience with PLS-CADD and survey techniques (desired)
• Knowledge of International Fuel Gas Code, NESC, NEC, and the DOT Part 191 and 192 (desired)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong safety record
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
