Flood Center (LWFC), a unit of the University's Institute for Coastal and Water
Research (ICaWR) and an affiliated center with the Department of Civil and
Environmental Engineering, seeks a postdoctoral scholar to support recently
funded National Science Foundation (NSF) research projects that focus on assessment
of disproportionate impacts of hydroclimatic extremes in US gulf regions via justice-minded
research and collaborative climate adaptation planning, and developing of a flood
resilience framework for affected communities in the Caribbean region. More
details about the projects can be found here: https://louisiana.edu/news/58m-nsf-funded-project-tackles-impacts-gulf-climate-extremes and https://louisiana.edu/news/researchers-study-flood-resilience-caribbean-international-grant. The projects provide unique
