Overview

Position Expectations

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Management Associate to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on managing the onboarding of solar and storage portfolios upon the close of financing, as well as managing funding related to debt and tax equity. The ideal candidate will have a background in portfolio management, banking, or real estate, and demonstrate the ability to manage complex processes, navigate transaction documents, and collaborate across multiple teams.

Specific Job Functions
• Lead the portfolio onboarding process in coordination with the finance team, ensuring seamless integration of new projects, deals, or funding transactions.
• Manage debt and tax equity funding, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
• Prepare and draft investor reporting materials, and maintain clear communication with investors.
• Calculate and oversee debt service, and distributions, and ensure compliance with financing and organizational documents.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the portfolio management department and assist in their implementation.
• Coordinate resources across internal teams and third-party service providers to manage large, complex projects.
• Engage in budget creation, monitoring, and capital planning activities.
• Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, or Juris Doctor a plus.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in asset portfolio management, with deep experience in managing debt and equity funding.
• Experience onboarding deals, managing portfolio-related transactions, and working with transaction documents. Paralegal experience in such a setting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and resources across multiple teams and third-party providers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in renewable energy, particularly solar, is a plus.
