Action for the Climate Emergency is seeking a Political Director to lead electoral and advocacy strategies addressing the climate emergency. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in political campaigns and a strong understanding of nonprofit structures for advancing climate policy. Climate Emergency Response: Political Director Role

We seek a seasoned Political Director to lead our electoral, advocacy, and civic engagement strategies in response to the climate emergency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute high-impact political programs, including candidate engagement, issue advocacy, voter mobilization, and coalition-building.
• Build and implement electoral strategies across seven key states to ensure climate champions are elected and climate policies are prioritized at every level of government.
Requirements:
• At least 7 years of experience leading large-scale political campaigns.
• Strategic thinker and coalition builder with expertise in electoral strategy, issue advocacy, political data, and field organizing.
• Deep understanding of how to leverage nonprofit structures to advance climate policy and clean energy goals.
