Blanton Plumbing is one of the fastest-growing residential plumbing companies in the country, and we are hiring an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our on-site team in New Lenox, Illinois, United States. This role includes a 5,000 sign-on bonus and offers steady year-round demand, strong support, and opportunities to grow.

You will spend your days diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential homes, working directly with homeowners to identify issues, explain solutions, and complete repairs and replacements efficiently and professionally. This is a hands-on service plumbing role for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and delivering quality workmanship.

- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixtures, and piping; perform service plumbing repairs and replacements such as faucets, toilets, valves, and water heaters. Troubleshoot plumbing systems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.

- Communicate clearly with homeowners about findings, options, and next steps, complete work accurately and safely in accordance with plumbing codes, maintain clean and organized job sites, and document work performed and service recommendations accurately.

We require a minimum of 2 years of residential service plumbing experience. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills are essential. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced service environment, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
