Job Description

Elias Associates, Inc. is seeking a Plant Environmental Manager for their manufacturing plant on the WV/OH border, offering a salary of $100-120k, relocation package, and benefits. The role involves implementing environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting training, and providing technical guidance. Candidates should have a BS degree in Engineering or Science, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership skills.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring company environmental programs and policies
for the site. Ensures compliance with government and environmental regulations (EPA). Conducts employee
training. Responds to emergencies, investigates incidents, and recommends corrective actions. Provides technical
guidance on environmental issues for operations and equipment. Completes required federal, state, and local
government reports.

Functions as a subject matter expert (SME) to plant team members on environmental and regulatory issues
and participates in incident investigations and root cause failure analysis.

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES:
BS degree in Engineering, Science or related field of study
Minimum of 4 years work experience in analysis of environmental regulations as applied to the mining,
construction, manufacturing, or related fields.
Experience with Title V air permitting required
Experience with consent decrees highly preferred
Must have strong leadership skills and proven effectiveness in leading a strong safety culture and
environmental compliance. Demonstrated ability to act as a support partner to operations and maintenance.
Ability to work collaboratively to find solutions to problems.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations and permits including, but not limited to,
CAA, CWA, RCRA, DOT, EPCRA, and TRI.
EPA Opacity Reading certification, DOT Certification, HAZWOPER certification and ISO 14001 a plus
