Paint Technician | Alabaster, AL
CEG’s growing industrial/environmental services client is seeking a Paint Technician to join their growing team in Alabaster, AL! The Paint Technician will use a keen eye for detail to operate abrasive blasting equipment to apply various abrasives to clean, remove corrosion or other contaminants on materials. Responsibilities:
• Protect surface or items that are not to be painted using masking tape or other materials.
• Pressure washing, grinding and abrasive blasting.
• Knowledge of blasting equipment and set up.
• Able to perform tasks using brushes and rollers.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the painting trade.
• Skill in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned.
• Able to meet deadlines.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED certificate required
• Valid driver's license required
• Industrial painting or sandblasting experience preferred
• Physical stamina
• Attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated with good initiative and flexibility.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug testing.
