TVH is seeking a Packaging Engineer in Kansas to design and implement innovative packaging solutions that support sustainability. Must Have
• Collaborating with packaging suppliers and Indirect Procurement to source materials and grow a reliable, diverse supplier base.
• Evaluating new suppliers and partnering with the SRM team to resolve performance or compliance issues.
• Selecting and testing packaging materials to meet product, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting the Operations team by developing and maintaining accurate packaging instructions.
• Conducting cost analyses and developing tender specifications to identify value-driven, long-term packaging solutions.
• Working with global teams to standardize and streamline packaging solutions.
• Managing documentation and reporting of packaging specifications and testing outcomes for internal stakeholders.
• Supporting internal teams (Marketing, Product Development, Operations) by providing technical guidance and solving packaging challenges.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvements in packaging processes, including eco-friendly and waste-reduction practices.
• Monitoring market trends, packaging innovations, and industry standards to inform business strategy and decision-making.
• Actively pursuing professional development through training, conferences, and industry engagement to stay current with packaging technologies and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in packaging development, preferably in an international or regulated environment.
• Must be eligible for international travel (passport required).

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Packaging Engineer, you will lead and support packaging initiatives that align with business goals and sustainability standards. This will involve:

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE
We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in packaging development, preferably in an international or regulated environment.
• Familiarity with ASTM, ISTA, EU regulations, and sustainable packaging trends (preferred)
• Lean principles experience is highly desirable.
• Must be eligible for international travel (passport required).
