Solar On Earth is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Outside Community Solar Sales & Consultant in New Castle, DE. The position involves in-person consultations with homeowners to educate them about community solar benefits and assist with sign-ups. Candidates should have sales experience, a passion for clean energy, and strong communication skills. The role offers a competitive salary and flexible field-based work, but it is not remote.

We're looking for motivated, mission-driven individuals to join our team as Outside Community Solar Sales & Consultants. In this role, you'll be on the front lines—meeting homeowners face-to-face to educate them about the benefits of community solar and helping them sign up for a greener future.

As a representative of Solar On Earth, a leader in the clean energy space, you’ll offer homeowners a simple, no-cost way to lower their electric bills while supporting local solar energy projects that benefit entire communities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-person consultations with homeowners in your assigned territory.
• Educate homeowners about the benefits of subscribing to community solar, including:
• No upfront costs
• Guaranteed monthly savings on energy bills
• Support for clean, renewable energy
• Guide customers through the sign-up process, answering questions and overcoming objections.
• Promote the mission and values of community solar and Solar On Earth’s role as a clean energy leader.
• Manage your schedule, leads, and follow-ups to ensure a strong customer pipeline.
• Represent the brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.

What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in outside sales, canvassing, or customer-facing roles (solar experience a plus, but not required)
• Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and community impact
• Strong communication, listening, and persuasion skills
• Self-motivated and driven by results
• Comfort working independently in the field with a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
