The Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation is seeking an Organic Plant Propagation Assistant for a 6-month AmeriCorps position in Reno, NV. Description

The Organic Plant Propagation Assistant will take on a leading role in the DFI greenhouse, collaborating with the 2022 farm team on fruit and vegetable production. This is a half-term position (approximately 6 months) that does not require previous horticulture, farming, or food systems experience, although such experience is preferred. Ongoing training will be provided during this AmeriCorps term. The position involves physically demanding tasks outdoors on the farm, interacting with diverse groups and populations, and working both independently and within a dynamic team.

• Assist with social media postings to promote DFI
