Organic Farmer

EDEN BEACH RESORT ZAMBALES is seeking an Organic Farmer to manage the cultivation and harvesting of organic crops, maintain soil health, and ensure sustainable farming practices. Responsibilities include monitoring plant health, operating farming tools, and collaborating with culinary teams. Candidates should have experience in organic farming, be physically fit, and able to work outdoors. This is a full-time, in-person position located in Polillo, Quezon, Philippines.
• Key Responsibilities
• Plan, plant, cultivate, and harvest organic crops according to seasonal schedules
• Maintain soil health through composting, mulching, and organic fertilization methods
• Monitor plant health and manage pests using organic and natural techniques
• Operate and maintain basic farming tools, irrigation systems, and equipment
• Ensure proper crop rotation and sustainable land use practices
• Harvest produce and prepare it for delivery to kitchens or storage areas
• Maintain farm cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Keep accurate records of planting schedules, harvest yields, and farm activities
• Support farm-to-table programs and collaborate with culinary teams
• Follow environmental, health, and safety standards at all times
• Qualifications & Requirements
• Previous experience in organic farming, agriculture, or horticulture preferred
• Knowledge of organic farming principles and sustainable agriculture practices
• Ability to work outdoors in tropical or variable weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
