Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Oregon Licensed Renewable Energy Technician to join Sunlight Solar here in beautiful Bend Oregon.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the installation of residential solar electric systems. This position requires experience in construction and installation processes related to renewable energy projects.
Duties
• Follow all OSHA Safety Protocols.
• Collaborate with our Project Coordinator to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of renewable energy installations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for the installation and maintenance of solar systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide construction activities.
• Work on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues related to low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Provide technical support during the installation phase and assist in training homeowner's on system operations.
Experience
• Experience as a residential electrician or in a similar role within the Oregon solar industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications. Intellectual curiosity.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in electrical installations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $74,000.00 per hour
