About Us:

Role Overview:

As a Ops Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, overseeing all activities crucial to daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, implementing production processes, and maintaining equipment to company standards.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality of green chips and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise area staff and coordinate daily operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance production and replenishment.
• Develop and implement standard production processes.
• Ensure quality control processes meet company standards.
• Improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Manage area budget and oversee CAPEX projects.
• Maintain communication with Plant Manager to meet production requirements.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues proactively.

Qualifications:
• Two-year degree or equivalent experience; four-year degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the wood products manufacturing industry (Pellets, OSB, Fiber Board, Pulp / Paper).
• Project management experience and Lean manufacturing training preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in challenging environments.
