CLEAResult is seeking an Operations Intern in Albuquerque, NM, to support an energy efficiency program through operational activities, data analysis, and process improvement. This hybrid role requires weekly in-person meetings. Ideal candidates are 3rd or 4th-year students pursuing degrees related to operations, energy, or sustainability, and must be available for full-time work during the summer. Compensation ranges from $20 to $23 per hour.

Job Description

We’re looking for a talented teammate…

We seek a highly motivated and analytical I ntern to work directly with our program operations team. This Intern will support the day‑to‑day execution and continuous improvement of an energy efficiency program, working closely with program operations, analytics, and stakeholder teams. This role provides hands‑on exposure to how energy efficiency initiatives are delivered at scale—supporting data tracking, process coordination, reporting, and operational analysis that help ensure programs run efficiently and meet performance goals.

This internship is ideal for students interested in operations, energy, sustainability, analytics, or business process improvement who want real‑world experience supporting programs that reduce energy use and environmental impact.

This hybrid role requires a weekly in-person meeting in the Albuquerque Area . OPT status not eligible for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily operational activities for an energy efficiency program, including tracking workflows, deliverables, and program milestones
• Assist with data collection, validation, and analysis related to program participation, performance, and outcomes
• Maintain and update operational tools, trackers, and documentation used by program teams and external partners
• Support reporting efforts by preparing summaries, dashboards, and basic analysis for internal stakeholders
• Assist with process improvement initiatives by documenting current‑state processes and identifying opportunities for efficiency or standardization
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow‑ups to support cross‑functional collaboration between operations, program management, and analytics teams
• Provide general project support to ensure program requirements, timelines, and quality standards are met
Qualifications
• Active enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2026
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (Early June through early August)
• Based in the Albuquerque Metro Area
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office products
Compensation

Compensation Range: $20 - $23 / hour

Any offered rate is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Compensation Range: $17.85 - $24.00

Currency: USD
