Madison Energy Infrastructure is hiring an Operations Coordinator in McLean, VA. The role involves providing office support, enhancing employee engagement, managing logistics for events, and assisting in recruitment processes. The position offers a salary of $85,000 - $100,000 per year.
Madison Energy Infrastructure ("MEI") believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset owner, and operator of distributed generation. This role represents a critical next step in MEI's evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike and building out development pipelines to finance renewable energy projects with our development partners.
The Operations Coordinator at Madison Energy Infrastructure (MEI) plays a critical role in providing essential office support and enhancing employee engagement across the organization. This position will be a part of the operational backbone of MEI, responsible for managing resources and facilities to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment. Adaptability, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to effective communication are essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced role.
This includes facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, organizing team-building activities to foster a positive workplace culture, and coordinating events that promote collaboration and camaraderie among staff. Additionally, the role involves providing administrative support to executives, managing schedules, and ensuring effective communication within the office, all aimed at creating a cohesive and engaging experience for employees.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Planning and managing logistics for various events and meetings, ensuring seamless execution at our Headquarters in Tysons Corner.
• Providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the management team, streamlining their daily tasks and priorities.
• Organizing activities that promote a vibrant workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement across MEI's offices.
• Assisting in coordinating recruitment events and facilitating interviews, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
• Supporting diverse operational tasks as needed, contributing to the overall effectiveness of team initiatives.
• Supporting teams in planning a semi-annual in person working session at an office location.
What We Are Looking For:
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively executing goals while managing multiple projects with a strong sense of urgency.
• Possess an outgoing demeanor, encouraging enthusiasm to inspire action among peers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a readiness to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
• Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat, and social media platforms.
