Onsite Project Manager - renewables

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking an Onsite Project Manager for renewable energy projects in Melbourne, Australia. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring photovoltaic projects, managing on-site personnel, ensuring safety and quality standards, and coordinating with local governments. Candidates should have experience managing solar or BESS projects on-site, and a builder's license is a plus. This is a full-time position with projects located near Melbourne.

Job Responsibilities:

- Cooperate with the project manager in the planning, execution and monitoring of photovoltaic projects to ensure that the project is completed on time and with quality.

- Responsible for the on-site personnel management of the project in Australia, including safety management, personnel transfer, on-site coordination and guidance, etc., to ensure that the project proceeds as planned.

- Formulate and track the entire process of photovoltaic project grid connection .

- Communicate effectively with local governments and other relevant parties to resolve conflicts with people in the project area and other stakeholders.

- Ensure project cost and resource management are controlled.

- Coordinate the preparation and management of project files and documentation.

- Work with the HSE manager to be responsible for the safety management of the project site, formulate safety assurance plans and safety standards, and ensure that the project is carried out safely and efficiently.

- Responsible for the control of project construction progress and quality, and supervise the quality and progress of on-site construction. Ensure the quality control and achievement of project goals, supervise construction quality, and ensure that construction meets design requirements and specifications. Responsible for project progress coordination and formulation of implementation plans, establishing execution plans, and coordinating all work.

Requirement:

Managing solar or BESS projects on site.

With builders license is a plus
