ONRE - Project Planning Manager - L3

Quest Global is seeking a Project Planning Manager in Bengaluru, India, to lead project planning in the solar and onshore renewables sector. The role requires over 7 years of experience, expertise in project management tools, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing schedules, identifying risks, and collaborating with teams to optimize project execution. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
Job Requirements
• Develop and implement strategic project planning processes and methodologies to ensure efficient project execution in the solar and onshore renewables sector.
• Lead and manage a team of project planners, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure high-quality project plans and schedules.
• Oversee the creation of comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and critical milestones, in alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose strategies to optimize schedules and resources for enhanced efficiency.
• Identify project risks, constraints, and dependencies, and collaborate with teams to develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project plans and timelines.
• Implement best practices and tools to improve project planning processes and enhance overall project delivery

Work Experience

Required Technical Experience
1. 7+ years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling within the solar or onshore renewables energy sector, with proven leadership experience.

2. Expertise in project management software/tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Milestone Pro) for scheduling and resource allocation.
