O&M Wind Technician

Location: Texas

Reports to: O&M Supervisor

Job Summary:

Independently perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines while ensuring uptime and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to turbines' mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct detailed inspections, torqueing, lubrication, and blade repair.
• Support root cause analysis and performance optimization initiatives.
• Maintain accurate service records in CMMS systems.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:
• Associate degree or technical certification in wind energy, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and OEM platforms (e.g., GE, Vestas, Siemens).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
