NHOA Energy is hiring an O&M Technician in Perth, WA, responsible for the operation and maintenance of a 100MW/200MWh Battery Energy Storage System. Candidates must have at least 5 years of electrical maintenance experience and relevant certifications. Key responsibilities include diagnosing electrical systems, conducting inspections, and collaborating with engineering teams. The role requires a West Australian Electrical Licence and is not remote, as it involves on-site work in Kwinana.

Posizione:

We are seeking a qualified electrician with at least 5 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance to join our Service Team. As an O&M Technician, you will play a key role in the operation and maintenance of a 100MW/200MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Kwinana. Reporting to the on-site O&M Manager, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing maintenance activities with a customer-focused and results-driven approach, supporting our key client in the region.

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems on renewable energy and power generation equipment.
• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimise system performance.
• Assist the O&M Manager in managing project operations and maintenance activities.
• Support the Performance Monitoring team with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Work closely with the Project Execution team during commissioning, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Assist with invoicing, procurement, and parts/services management for the project.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and retention through effective service delivery.
• Provide insights to the R&D and Engineering teams to enhance product performance and reliability.

Requisiti:

About You
• West Australian Electrical Licence (mandatory)
• Construction White Card (mandatory)
• Experience with SCADA and PLC control systems
• Background in energy, micro-grid, or power generation
• High-Risk Licence – Forklift (preferred)
• High Voltage Switching Operator certification (preferred)
• LV/CPR certification (within 12 months, preferred)
• Valid driver’s licence Be located within a commutable distance to Kwinana
