Equinix is hiring an OCM Strategy and Execution Director in London to lead global business transformation programs. Job Summary
The critical enabling function for Operations Excellence transformational programs and change communications. Ensuring Ops personnel understand the need for change, are engaged in and ready for the transformation and championing change impacts.
Responsible for multiple resources to deliver large scale global cross functional business transformation programs. Builds strategic relationships with stakeholders and end user communities. Responsible for and leads the delivery of large transformational programs and portfolios.
Responsibilities
Planning
• Develops strategic business cases, plans large scale/complex global cross functional business transformation programs that contain multiple high profile/business critical dependencies and risks
Stakeholder Management
• Works predominantly with Operations senior leadership teams to manage stakeholder expectations and risk and builds strategic relationships for the deployment and adoption of Operations Excellence initiatives and programs
Communications
• Develops, leads and delivers an impactful communication strategies / campaigns to plan on behalf of the Global Operations Excellence function. Ensuring impacted employees understand and advocate the reasons for change
• Establishing communication protocols and channel media release management
• Innovate proactive communication programs for stakeholder engagement, strategic alignment and future state promotion
• Governance of communication material content, repositories and access
• Exploring new and innovative communication materials, platforms, tactics and release strategies
• Internal communications hub design and ownership
Project/Program Delivery
• Responsible for the organisational change management delivery of large scale/complex global cross functional business transformation programs that contain multiple high profile/business critical dependencies and risks
• Acts as a gatekeeper, ensuring consistency, quality and effectiveness of Operations Excellence change management programs
• Measures and reports on the success of change management programs and formulates continuous improvement plans to address gaps (establishing launch and land success criteria)
Resource Management (people, finances etc.)
• Responsible for leading a new organisational change management function within the Business Optimisation pillar of Operations Excellence
• Responsible for supporting / setting Functional Leadership and all hands agendas, managing functional communications committees, overseeing functional change projects and carrying out activities to maintain leadership team alignment and messaging
• May represent Business Optimisation leader in meetings
Qualifications
• 10+ years experience preferred
• Diploma to a Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Managing Successful Programs Practitioner certification preferred
