We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain, such as Styrofoam coolers. Essential Job Responsibilities:

The WaveKraft division of Temperpack is looking for a summer intern to assist with the development of new products. Tasks to include manual production of new product concepts, developing / producing customer samples, some equipment design work and providing debug assistance on new production equipment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to do hands on development.
• Mechanically inclined aptitude
• Experience with Microsoft office products for reporting purposes (excel and word)
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Some solid design software experience is a plus
• Packaging design coursework is a plus (for industrial design candidates)
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
