New Energy High Voltage System Engineer

About the Role

Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, this role will support our Automotive Engineering Research Institute Team. On offer is a New Energy High Voltage System Engineer position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
• Conduct compatibility testing between electric vehicles and charging stations in the Australian market. This includes on-site vehicle charging functionality tests and testing the interoperability of charging stations.
• Coordinate joint commissioning activities and liaise with Australian charging station manufacturers.
• Oversee the design and debugging of electric vehicle systems and charging stations, resolving compatibility issues between the two.
• Conduct research and competitor analysis in the Australian & New Zealand market.

Key requirements:
• Familiar with the high-voltage system of electric vehicles, with the ability to explain the terminology & working principles.
• 2 years or above related work experience in a similar role, ideally in automotive industry or charging facility manufacturers.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Being able to work onsite 5 days a week and travel domestically and internationally for business if needed.
