About the position

The Net Zero Program Manager at U.S. Bank will play a crucial role in supporting the enterprise-wide net zero strategy, focusing on carbon accounting, decarbonization pathways, and sustainable finance. This position involves program management, data analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective execution of the net zero transition plan and reporting against established standards.

Responsibilities
• Support the Net Zero Strategy Lead and Data Lead in developing and executing the enterprise-wide net zero transition plan.

• Provide program management and data analysis expertise in carbon accounting and decarbonization pathways.
,
• Engage with business stakeholders to enhance strategy for meeting Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions goals.

• Develop internal dashboards and external reporting against PCAF standards.
,
• Conduct financed emissions analysis and client engagement data analysis for TCFD reporting.
,
• Collaborate with Procurement on data integration for Scope 3 emissions analysis.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in data management, analytics, engineering, sustainability, environmental studies, finance, or related field.

• At least six years of experience in statistical and/or data management and analytics, preferably in financial services.

• Understanding of corporate accounting data integrity considerations and risk management.

• Practical experience with GHG Protocol and leading ESG reporting frameworks like ISSB/TCFD and PCAF.

• Knowledge of corporate finance and sustainable finance products.

Nice-to-haves
• Master's degree in data science, earth/climate sciences, engineering, sustainability, or related field.

• Experience with climate-related data providers and sources.

• Knowledge of other frameworks and standards, including SASB, CDP, GRI.
