About the position

Parametrix is seeking a NEPA Specialist/Project Manager to join our Oregon/Idaho team, focusing on environmental permitting solutions for various projects. This role involves leading planning services, conducting NEPA impact analyses, and managing environmental documentation for transportation, infrastructure, and industrial projects. The position emphasizes collaboration with clients and agency staff, project management, and business development.

Responsibilities
• Lead planning services in collaboration with planners, scientists, and engineers.

• Conduct NEPA impact analyses and prepare EISs, EAs, and categorical exclusions.
,
• Lead environmental permitting efforts and develop documentation for planning studies.
,
• Support environmental permitting in Oregon and Washington, with experience in other western states being a plus.
,
• Focus on project management, delivery, business development, and client development.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in environmental or biological sciences, planning, or a similar field; Master's degree preferred.

• 8+ years of NEPA experience with a focus on water or energy infrastructure, permitting, and climate work.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience permitting in Idaho, Montana, Utah, and California.
