About the Position
We are searching for an experienced NEPA Planner to join our growing team in metro Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate possesses 3 to 8 years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will perform NEPA documentation and environmental planning work for clients across the United States. The successful candidate will also be BS-degree qualified in a relevant environmental discipline. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies, affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter.
Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental discipline (required)
• 3 to 8 years of related NEPA experience
• Experience in preparing NEPA analyses and deliverables (required)
• Strong QA/QC skills and the ability to deliver complete, clean documents
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Preferred but not required:
• Experience with Georgia DOT Plan Development Process
• Coordination with interdisciplinary teams of designers and environmental SMEs
• Experience with assembling and managing project teams, proposals, budgets, and schedules
• Experience with public engagement
