Position Overview
The NDIS Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a highly professional team of individuals and will be responsible for all matters concerning Operations, including Quality, Technical, and Resource Planning Activities for the NDIS team. He/she will also be responsible for initiating, driving, and implementing change projects within operations to ensure simplification, improved operational efficiency, and effectiveness. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for the financial performance of the unit and ensuring compliance with quality levels and technical audits, reports, and processes based on NDIS scheme requirements, DNV policies, processes, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading, developing, and driving the NDIS Operations activities in Australia.
• Ensuring that the audit data in the system is correct and updated in the systems and other applications.
• Managing and developing the Operations team by mentoring and coaching less experienced members.
• Driving and ensuring compliance with quality levels and technical audits, reports, and processes based on NDIS scheme requirements.
• Responsible for timely Technical Reviews and providing inputs into competency improvement.
• Managing the competence of the team for all roles, including auditor qualifications as per accreditation requirements.
• Implementing effective Customer complaints management and ensuring improvement actions are taken for customer satisfaction.
• Managing the appeal process and ensuring impartial reviews and necessary actions.
• Ad hoc reporting and related activities.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of relevant/similar experience in NDIS, preferably in another Notified body.
• Proven experience/responsibility for financial performance.
• NDIS Qualified Lead Auditor.
• In-depth knowledge of Certification Processes and Accreditation requirements.
• Ability to use analytical data to monitor and drive operational performance.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a keen interest in proposing and driving change.
• Proactive, analytical, and organized with a good commercial mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of the English Language.
• Ability to quickly understand and analyze complex issues and come up with sound judgments.
• Ability to interact and cooperate across cultures.
• A high degree of resilience.
