Maine Audubon is seeking a Naturalist/Visitor Services Associate for the Fields Pond Audubon Center in Holden, ME. This full-time role involves leading mission-based programming, educating the public about Maine's natural history, and developing inclusive programs for various age groups. The position requires collaboration with the Director of Northern Programs and Operations to enhance nature center operations and facilities. Salary is $18–21 per hour.
Naturalist / Visitor Services Associate Fields Pond Audubon Center Maine Audubon’s mission is to conserve Maine’s wildlife and habitat through conservation, education, and advocacy. The Naturalist/Visitor Services Associate leads and expands mission-based programming in the northern region of the state. This public-facing position, based at the Fields Pond Audubon Center, will convey Maine’s natural history through a wide array of public programming. These programs are designed to instill fascination, understanding, and responsibility for the natural world, environmental sustainability, and human impacts.
