Your Daily Tasks
• Perform native and non-native plant identification, herbicide application, selective mowing, brush and tree removal, native plant and seed installation, and erosion control installation.
• Assess native ecosystem health and communicate project needs and progress to supervisors or operations managers.
• Apply knowledge of field maps, engineered plan sets, and specifications to ensure accurate project implementation.
Qualifications
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Valid drivers license necessary.
• Must obtain a Pennsylvania Commercial Pesticide Applicator/Operator license within three months.
• Able to obtain and maintain a FedMed Certificate and drive a DOT registered truck and trailer within six months.
