The NC Department of Transportation is seeking a Natural Resource Management Expert in Raleigh, NC. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer II to join our Monitoring and Stewardship team in Raleigh.
About the Role

In this role, you will:
• Assist the Monitoring and Stewardship Group with planning, design, construction, monitoring, and stewardship of NCDOT onsite stream, wetland, and buffer mitigation sites.
• Coordinate post-construction monitoring efforts statewide to ensure compliance with environmental permit conditions and schedules.
• Analyze transportation project plans, provisions, specifications, policies, procedures, regulations, and laws related to Compensatory Mitigation.
• Manage Private Engineering Firms involving scope of work, estimates, project management tasks, scheduling, budgets, and invoicing.
