Fifth Wind Farm is seeking a Natural Construction Apprentice for a unique building project near Cobourg, Ontario, starting in May 2025. Needed: Natural construction apprentice

Host: Fifth Wind Farm

Location: near Cobourg, Ontario

Accommodations: on site accommodation available, if necessary

Be a part of a unique building project (an addition to a century farmhouse) featuring low carbon footprint slab on grade, compressed earthblocks (made on site), homemade paint, and other environmentally sound building practices.

Looking for someone, an apprentice, who has a keen interest in learning natural building construction. You will be learning techniques from a licenced carpenter who has 20 years experience in natural construction.

The project will begin in May 2025 and take a year to complete.

Possible paid position depending on experience and accommodation needs.
