EquipmentShare is Hiring a National Technical Support Specialist - Climate ControlEquipmentShare is seeking a National Technical Support Specialist - Climate Control to join our growing Advanced Solutions division. This role will serve as a subject matter expert, supporting sales efforts and delivering engineered climate control solutions for complex customer needs across multiple vertical markets and geographic regions.You'll work closely with our Territory Account Managers, Advanced Solutions Reps, and National Account Managers to develop, quote, and execute customized solutions involving HVAC, dehumidification, and more. This is a customer-facing and highly technical position that requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales support, and project execution.Location: Remote/Travel-Based - National Coverage (Multiple Regions/Districts)Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours, with flexibility for travel. Occasional weekend or after-hours support may be needed for key project setups or customer needs.Why EquipmentShare is a Better Place to WorkCompetitive compensationMedical, Dental, and Vision coverage for full-time employeesGenerous paid time off (PTO) and company-paid holidays401(k) with company matchAnnual tool and boot reimbursements (where applicable)Fitness membership stipends and wellness initiativesCompany-sponsored events, food trucks, and monthly family dinners16 hours of paid volunteer time annuallyCareer advancement and professional development opportunitiesAccess to industry-leading diagnostic and sizing toolsCollaborative team culture focused on innovation, teamwork, and customer successPrimary ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical subject matter expert for climate control equipment (including HVAC, dehumidification, and more) across a variety of vertical markets.Support sales activities by assisting reps with customer-facing engagements, product recommendations, and application-based solution development.Conduct job walks, site assessments, and needs evaluations to size and design appropriate temporary climate control solutions.Provide technical guidance and recommendations to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.Assist in quoting specialized equipment packages tailored to customer project specifications.Lead project management efforts for large or complex job setups, including coordination of logistics, commissioning and operation.Deliver ongoing product and application training to internal sales and operations teams to improve technical capabilities.Stay current with emerging technologies and product innovations by collaborating with internal product teams and manufacturers.Participate in sales presentations with internal teams, offering technical credibility and application expertise.Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong technical understanding of temporary climate control systems including HVAC, chillers, heaters, air handling units, and pumps.Proven ability to size, design, and specify complex solutions.Solid grasp of heating and cooling principles, basic engineering, and the ability to read schematics.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Willingness and ability to travel frequently across assigned regions.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC or climate control-related roles.Previous experience in a customer-facing pre-sales technical support role strongly preferred.Physical Requirements:Ability to walk job sites, climb stairs/ladders, and evaluate equipment setups.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.This is a safety-sensitive position; candidates must pass a 10-panel drug screen.
