Murex Environment Management Consultant

Luxoft is seeking a Murex Environment Management Consultant in Singapore for a project with a leading private bank. The role involves first-level support for Murex products, configuration management, and database procedures. Candidates should have over 5 years of Murex experience, scripting skills, and knowledge of Unix and Oracle DB. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirements.

Our customer is a leading private bank in Singapore that provides front-to-back integrated treasury solution. Luxoft has been chosen as the System Integrator partner for this project and will have key roles across all the streams - Accounting, Back Office, Finance, Risk, Integration, Reporting, Test Management, Configuration & Environment management. We are looking for experienced & motivated Murex colleagues to join this exciting program and contribute towards the success of this engagement

Responsibilities
• Act as first-level support for already deployed Murex products, re-directing, and following the issues with the corresponding support teams
• Configuration Management
• Use Murex configuration management tools to import/export configuration items and analyse related issues
• Apply the configuration management methodologies.
• Perform database sanitization and purging procedures

SKILLS

Must have
• 5+ years of relevant Murex experience in configuration & environment management.
• Scripting (perl, awk), SQL, Unix XML, RDMS Operation
• Basic understanding of Market risk, MRE/MRA and batch & feeder config.
• Good Knowledge of Unix- Shell Scripting & Oracle DB
• Strong knowledge and hands on with Murex server architecture : Launcher configurations/Services/Load Balancing
• Possess good knowledge of server infrastructure and Databases (Oracle)

• Understanding of Financial market
• Knowledge on DevOps
