Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in laboratory analytical methods and field sampling techniques
• Knowledgeable in U.S. EPA SW-846 methods and relevant regulatory programs (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA)
• Ability to mentor and supervise junior chemists
• Proficient in data validation, verification, and reporting
• Familiarity with environmental data management systems

Responsibilities
• Oversee chemical data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation for environmental consulting projects
• Develop project quality assurance and sampling plans
• Serve as Chemical Data Quality Control officer for federal clients
• Manage subcontracted analytical laboratory services
• Mentor and train junior chemists
• Collaborate with project managers on technical issues and client interactions

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or closely related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, cleanup, or laboratory work
• Proven expertise in environmental chemistry and project management

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a closely related field

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental consulting or related fields
