We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Environmental Chemist to join our consulting services team in Ventura, Burbank, or San Diego, California. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional capable of working independently within a team structure. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy of lab work, analyzing data, and preparing reports with a focus on data validation and verification.

Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of laboratory analytical methods and field sampling techniques
• Familiarity with U.S. EPA SW-846 methods and regulatory programs (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA)
• Experience in environmental consulting or related fields

Responsibilities
• Oversee chemical data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation for environmental projects
• Develop project quality assurance and sampling plans
• Serve as the Chemical Data Quality Control officer
• Manage subcontracted analytical laboratory services
• Mentor and train junior to mid-level chemists
• Collaborate with the environmental database manager to improve data management systems
• Support business development and proposal preparation

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or related industrial experience
• Proven ability to produce quality work and mentor team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or closely related science or engineering field
